School Year 2022—2023 finally ends. Teachers were happy and excited to take a rest and relaxation for a short while however DO No. 14 distorted the plans and focus. Teachers and pupils are now taking another leap of hope to make sure that no pupils are being left behind. Pupils can cope with the difficulties they had encountered and be ready for the next school year. Teachers tend to sacrifice their own relaxation time to serve, accommodate the needs of the pupils and most importantly help the pupils grow independently and passionate with their own academic endeavors.
Last July 25, 2023 incoming pupils from Grades 1—3 had their special summer class taking its relevant subject of reading. Pupils has 3 days to visit the school; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Pupils had categorized to Full Refresher, Moderate Refresher and Light Refresher so that teachers can also identify the extent of their reading capabilities and the materials to be given to the pupils. National Learning Camp (NLC) gives an avenue for capability development and give pupils time to boost their own confidence.
Teachers and pupils investing their own time, effort and ample of sacrifices made this Camp a successful one, wherein learning extends beyond the standard number of school days within one school year. Time for relaxation and recharge moment intended where set aside because of the quality of learning teachers want to implore and inculcate to its pupils. Indeed, it is truly admiring and key to note that teachers are noble in their own ways and the profession they are entitled to.
